About Kodaal

Enterprise knowledge, intelligently organised.

Philosophy

Kodaal builds self-hosted, single-tenant systems for teams that need practical enterprise capability without giving up control of their data. The platform is designed to run on customer-controlled infrastructure, with optional local AI paths for organisations that require zero external data transmission.

Minimal infrastructure. Maximum capability. That's the Kodaal way.

Kodaal EKP - The Flagship Product

Kodaal EKP is a self-hosted, single-tenant enterprise knowledge platform designed for organisations that need a reliable, auditable knowledge base with a built-in AI assistant. The platform is the authoritative place to upload and organise documents, retrieve them later, and query institutional knowledge through a chat interface that always grounds its answers in real source material.

EKP consolidates fragmented documents, chats, and team knowledge into one controlled system. It respects access rules by design, provides a clean interface for uploading and browsing content, and adds an AI layer that can answer questions, cite sources, and retrieve the exact documents that support its responses.

The platform supports 300 users, provided the underlying infrastructure is sized and scaled accordingly. Smaller teams can run lean; larger deployments should scale compute, storage, search, backups, and operational monitoring to match real usage.

EKP organises knowledge into projects and folders, preserves original files, prepares content for search, and keeps answers grounded in source material. Access control, audit history, and deployment controls are part of the product surface without exposing unnecessary operational detail.

The goal is simple: preserve institutional knowledge, make it easy to find, and give teams a private foundation for AI workflows that can scale with the organisation.
